I think I am more in the older category of this group. I am 51   Wow so many April birthdays.Hey Guys HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!    Enjoy this life no matter what age your at. I hear it is a one way trip. I am sure glad that we have all this young talent among us as well. Hey Mario: Who are you calling old folks? Hurt a guy's feelings .Don't they say grey hair on a man is considered to be wisdom. If so I must be really smart. Have a good evening.

HA! Who'd a thunk that in such a small group of strangers, one would share my birthday and yet another is but 5 days younger than I.

Weird.....

As I recall from Richard Feimann's book -- Adventures of a Curious Character... (good book, I highly recommend it.)

If you get 20 people together there is a much higher percentage of 2 of them sharing a birthday. And as the group gets bigger the percentage goes up fast.

He commented on how he would take bets at parties and invariably win.

51. A pretty common age for the forum. It seems like the 40s is a good age to start remembering all the fun you had in shop class, You have a bit of disposable income. You've played guitar for years. What the heck. Why not try building a guitar or two or twenty.

[QUOTE=Don Williams] Old enough to now understand the expression "Youth is wasted on the young".

I didn't appreciate my youth when I was younger. Now it's gone... what a bummer.

...MUST exercise!

You and I must belong to the same ashram, Don.
But I'm sure I've been saying this mantra longer than you: 49 until September.

I'm 35, and Woolson, as has been said earlier on the subject of hair, better more gray with more years than less hair with more years! The beard is getting more "distinguished", though. I find it commendable on the part of one of our lady-luths to be secure enough to divulge her age, and yet, a couple of guys are holding out on us!

I used to grow my beard every winter to see how much more grey had been added to it. About 5 years ago, there was no longer any need

57 in July. I'm not grey headed, that's just a natural platinum blonde color.
